nEAL

Neal was born in Changsha, Hunan Province, China in 1994. He completed undergrad at Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) in 2016, where he started his journey of chemistry with Prof. Bin Tan & Prof. Xin-Yuan Liu. He then obtained his Ph.D. at the University of Connecticut in 2021 guided by Prof. Gaël Ung, and is currently conducting postdoctoral research at Scripps Research with Prof. Donna G. Blackmond & Prof. Philip E. Dawson. His research interest is focused on developing asymmetric reactions, exploring chiral luminescence, as well as discovering chiral enrichment mechanisms in the prebiotic chemistry context.
